ESYLA (Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association)
We will ONLY be submitting boys teams into ESYLA. Our boys home games will mainly be played on Sundays with away games on Saturdays.
The ESYLA program is an optional recreational lacrosse league that we offer in addition to our Falcon in-house recreational lacrosse program. We will play other ESYLA member boys programs from across the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware.
We will play our boys ESYLA games on mainly on Sundays. We will have home and away games so travel is required to participate. Our in-house lacrosse program game schedule will not conflict with our ESYLA game schedule. We will have boys teams at the following divisions...
Boy’s Grades 1st & 2nd
Boy’s Grades 3rd & 4th
Boy’s Grades 5th & 6th
Boy’s Grades 7th & 8th
All actively participating in-house recreational boys players are eligible to participate on a team we submit into ESYLA as long as we have an available opening on a team. We reserve the right to cap the number of players per team that we submit into the ESYLA league to improve the playing experience for those that complete the Falcon ESYLA registration process early.
All players participating in ESYLA league play are required, for insurance purposes, to become a member of US Lacrosse. The cost for a US Lacrosse membership is $30. US Lacrosse is the governing body of the sport and this is an ESYLA league rule. We also require an additional $30 per player to help cover officiating expenses and league membership dues. We are responsible to cover all officiating costs for our home games. The total additional cost is $60 per player.
The amount of teams and games per division could vary depending on interest level and the teams that the other clubs are able to field. It’s fair to say that each team we submit should get 6 to 8 games during the season with potential for more. ESYLA league games start at the end of March/early April and finish up before Memorial Day weekend.
